Robert W. Dyke

CUMBERLAND – Robert W. Dyke, 83, of Greely Road passed away Monday Nov. 14, 2022 at this residence.

He was born July 22, 1939 in Portland, the son of Ernest and Elsie Fogg Dyke.

Robert graduated from Falmouth High School and worked as a salesman, then as a sales manager for Fox Lumber for 35 years. He later worked for Hillside Lumber.

Robert enjoyed drinking coffee with friends, vegetable gardening and traveling. He was the president of the Cumberland Fair Farm Museum and loved collecting milk bottles.

Survivors include his wife, Elsa Stevens Dyke of Cumberland; two sisters, Judith Booker of South Portland and Dianne Groves of Scarborough; and several nephews and nieces.

A graveside service will be held Friday Nov.18 at 1 p.m. at the South Buxton Cemetery, (Tory Hill), in Bar Mills. Reception to follow at Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Home, 13 Portland Rd., Buxton.
