OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Voters here elected a new Regional School Unit 23 Board Director for a three-year term on Nov. 8.
Retired educator Barbara Roberge earned 2,207 votes in the contest, besting incumbent Sally Beatty, who earned 2,022 votes.
Three town councilors, Ken Blow, Shawn O’Neill and Michael Tousignant were unopposed in their bids for re-election to two-year terms.
Town Clerk Kim McLaughlin was also unopposed for a two-year term.
