I’ve been hearing so much about the benefits of electrically powered vehicles.
Then a friend sent me some information he had gathered from various sources – sources that any reader may Google, and really should. Once they have Googled, and spent some time on those pages, they should keep looking. They likely will become astonished at what they find. The results are not the “green pasture” you’d expect; quite the opposite.
To build just one electric car battery takes tremendous amounts of energy supplied by coal, nuclear or gas-fired power plants. If you previously concluded that electric battery-powered cars were the answer, maybe it’s time to rethink that position.
Google the number of gallons of water required to refine even one ton of lithium and what becomes of that water once used as that part of the process. It’s not good.
