I’m supporting Jess Moninski for City Council in Ward 2. I have always been inspired by her dedication to public service and her commitment to our community.
I want my daughter to always have the autonomy to make healthy choices that are right for her. As we’ve seen women’s rights stripped away, it is more important now than ever that people with influence in all levels of government stand up and help prevent the backsliding of these basic human rights. Jess’s position on women’s health care is a no-brainer, and one I am in full agreement with. In fact, it is impossible to separate health care, affordable housing, a strong public education and good jobs from each other when you are looking to build upon and maintain a thriving, vital community.
Jess Moninski will work hard toward the success of our city without compromising the rights of her neighbors.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
