Roy Giles

SOUTH PORTLAND – Roy Giles, 77, of South Portland, a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, passed away on Oct. 13, 2022, after a long illness.

Best known as a huge sports enthusiast, history buff and devoted family man.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of 44 years; four children; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Rd., South Portland followed by a reception at Unity Lodge #3, 179 Ridgeline Ave., South Portland.
