Angelina “Julie” Boyle

PORTLAND – Angelina “Julie” Boyle, 95, passed away peacefully at Fallbrook Woods on Oct. 16, 2022.

She was born on Nov. 8, 1926 in Portland, the daughter of Mauro and Michelina (Indiano) Colello. She was raised on Munjoy Hill in Portland along with her four siblings. Julie was a communicate of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Portland.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Boyle; her four siblings, Donato Colello, Frank Colello, Lucrezia Flaherty, and Michael Colello.

Julie is survived by her nephews Louis, Michael and Raymond Flaherty, and by one niece, Catherine.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 20 from 8-9 a.m. Prayers will be recited at 9:15 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Federal Street in Portland. Burial will be in Old Calvary Cemetery in South Portland.
