I am proud to support independent candidate Anne Gass for the Maine House of Representatives (District 104). As a civil engineer and active outdoorsman, I’ve met few who care as much about developing our community, with an eye toward accessibility, health, vibrancy and environmental impact, as Anne.
On the Gray Bike-Ped Committee, Anne spearheaded Gray’s Bike-Ped Plan. Anne has also been instrumental in the Gray Town Visioning Project. I’ve been proud to serve with her in both of these capacities. Anne’s grit, passion and pragmatic approach has fueled these projects and inspired others to get involved.
I’ve known Anne for nearly 30 years. She cares about developing our community to be safe, accessible and fun for all ages, and for the environment, while her savvy business eye brings benefits to the bottom line into consideration.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
