Please join me and vote for Teresa Pierce for state Senate and Steve Moriarty for the House of Representatives. I’ve spent almost two decades working on federal policy. I’ve seen my share of politicians who talk a good game and don’t do anything unless it makes them look good. I’ve also come across a few who set aside the negative politics and work hard to make life better for everyone. Teresa and Steve are two of the good ones.
Teresa has worked tirelessly on crafting and passing budgets that lower taxes for working people, fully fund our schools, and invest in clean energy and our environment.
Steve has long been a consistent voice fighting to ensure our democracy here in Maine stays strong, addressing the climate crisis, and lowering the tax burden for seniors.
Please vote for Teresa and Steve to make sure that we continue to be represented by hardworking people.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
