HAMPDEN – Reginald “Reggie” Desjardins, 80, passed away at his home in Hampden on Oct. 5, 2022.

He was born in Old Orchard Beach on April 11, 1942, to Carmen and Leon Desjardins.

Reggie graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School in 1961 and served in the Navy 1961-1963.

He attended New England Institute of Anatomy where upon graduating he worked for Lindquist Funeral Home in Yarmouth. He later worked for Miles Plumbing and Heating before he opened his own business, Des-co Plumbing and Heating. After retiring he enjoyed driving cars for Hertz.

Reggie was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and friend.

Reggie was predeceased by his parents; and brothers Herschel, Harold and Henry.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra; sons Jeffery and wife Michelle, Jamie and wife Chelsi; grandchildren Asher Adams, Keller, Connor and Paige Desjardins; sister, Carlene Perkins.

The family would like to thank Northern Light Hospice, nurses, aides and social worker for their care to allow Reggie to be at home with his family.
