Philip S. Morgan 1951 – 2022 BRUNSWICK – Philip S. Morgan, 71, went to be with the lord Tuesday Oct. 11, 2022 at Dionne Commons in Brunswick. Philip was born Feb. 2, 1951 in Waterville to Maurice F. and Thelma L. (Brockett) Morgan. He grew up in East Harpswell, attended local schools and Brunswick High School. In his teen age years he started lobstering in the local area and worked many years as a lobsterman. He also did lawn care at the Brunswick Naval Air Base, worked in maintenance for Brunswick Housing and was a parts driver for his brother Mort’s garage. Philip enjoyed drag racing driving in street class. He was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and followed Tom Brady after he went to Tampa Bay. Philip loved the Lord and loved bringing the word of the Lord and fellowship to four local nursing homes including Brunswick Convalescent now known as Dionne Commons. Philip was predeceased by his siblings, Kenny Morgan, Caroline King, Betty Cote, and Shirley Billington. He is survived by his three children, Craig Morgan, Philip Morgan II and fiance Jenn Enoch and Cynthia Morgan and partner Thomas Koehling, his lifelong friend and mother of his three children, Anna Merry, a brother Mort and wife Veronica Morgan, and a sister Jeannie and husband Myron Pennell; grandsons, Ryan and wife Maggie Morgan, Noah Morgan, Tristan Merrill, Cody Merrill and Joseph Solomon lll; granddaughter Hanna Enoch; great- granddaughters Willow Morgan, Osiris Morgan, and Emma Johns. Philip’s family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff and residence at Dionne Commons for their loving care and support. A funeral service will be held, 11 a.m.,Saturday Oct. 15, at Great Island Church of the Nazarene, 806 Harpswell Islands Road, Harpswell, ME.
