Portland-based tribute act The Masterstroke Queen Experience worships at the altar of Freddie Mercury, and so can you by heading to an outdoor show at OOB’s storied Ballpark. They will, indeed, rock you, because when it comes to Queen covers, they are the absolute champions. Get out there before another summer bites the dust.

Here’s a chance to catch a collaborative, multi-genre act with the motto “groove plus melody equals joy.” Hear it for yourself by seeing The Potboilers perform in Freeport. The band is Heather Pierson on keys and vocals, Rafe Matregrano on guitar and vocals, Shawn Nadeau on bass, and drummer Craig Bryan. Aerosmith with Extreme

This certainly qualifies as a historic show, as Aerosmith kicks off a huge tour in Maine with its first live show in three years. The rock band from Boston has been at it for more than five decades and has racked up countless hits, including “Sweet Emotion,” “Walk This Way,” “Back in the Saddle,” “Rag Doll” and “Love in an Elevator.” If you don’t want to miss a thing, grab tickets now, because if you think this show isn’t going to sell out, you can dream on.
