LEWISTON — Police on Thursday identified the man whose body was pulled from the Androscoggin river Saturday as 39-year-old Isar Coleman of Lewiston.

Investigators were still working to determine the cause of death.

Coleman’s body was found floating just up from the Great Falls on the Lewiston side.

Police said an autopsy has been conducted, but detectives and officials from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta are waiting for the results of additional testing before making a determination.

Police have classified the death as suspicious pending further autopsy results.
