Annella “Ann” Catruch

RAYMOND – Annella “Ann” Catruch, 92, peacefully passed away on Aug. 13, 2022, surrounded by love and with family at her home in Raymond.

She was born on June 10, 1930 in Newburyport, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Hollis and Elizabeth Roberts (Connors). She attended schools in Maine and Massachusetts.

She married her beloved husband Augustine “Augie” Catruch, Sr., on October 11, 1947, and together they raised their three children in Portland.

As a young woman, Ann worked for Woolworths and A&P Bakery, but dedicated her life to maintaining a loving home for her family.

She will always be remembered for her love of reading novels, cooking, gardening, and coffee on the deck. Spending time with her children, grandchildren, sisters, cousins and nieces was her favorite pastime. She also loved to reminisce about days gone by with her niece, Sandra Jean “Sandy.”

She is joyously reunited with her beloved husband of 51 years, Augie Sr., in Heaven, along with her sisters Alberta E. Cunningham and Lillian E. Hanscom. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul D. (Sr.) and Karen A. Catruch of Raymond; her grandson and granddaughter-in-law Paul D. (Jr.) and Charity D. Catruch of Newmarket, New Hampshire; her grandson Nicholas R. Catruch of Windham; her great-grandchildren Gino A. Catruch of Venice, Florida, and Lucas C. Catruch of Raymond; her daughter Tammie-Jo Catruch; her brother-in-law Henry Hanscom of Ocala, Florida, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Interment will be at the Crooked River Cemetery in Naples. Arrangements are in the care of the Hall Funeral Home in Casco where condolences and tributes may be shared at http://www.hallfuneralhome.net.
