I’d like to thank Sen. Angus King for voting for the Inflation Reduction Act. (Ha! What a joke!) Why does he hide behind his status as an independent when he votes with the Democrats all the time?
In these inflationary times, no sane person would vote to spend more money and raise taxes. Sen. King’s vote will hurt the middle class with more inflation and with more taxes. Furthermore, why would he vote to hire 87,000 more IRS employees to go after small businesses and middle-income taxpayers?
Angus King is not looking out for us. He should do us all a favor and choose to retire at the end of his term.
