Falmouth has released updates on the roads being closed to local traffic due to ongoing construction.
The closure of Middle Road has been extended for several more weeks as work on the West Falmouth sewer project continues. Several hundred feet of pipe have been laid, according to the town, but the work, initially estimated to take four weeks, is taking longer than anticipated.
In addition, Mast Road will be closed to all through traffic from Aug. 19 through Aug. 26 to install a culvert over Suckfish Brook, which is located just south of McDermott Way. Detour routes are being determined and will likely include Babbidge and/or Brook roads, according to a town news release.
