Donald K. Wright 1938 – 2022 BATH – Donald K. Wright, 83, of Summer Street, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Bath on July 28, 1938, a son of Herman N. and Dorothy H. (Breed) Wright. He attended Bath schools and graduated from Morse High School in the Class of 1956. He was employed at Wright’s Amaco Gas Station in Bath from 1956 to 1959. He entered the U.S. Army and served during Vietnam. In 1968 he was employed at Bath Iron Works as an outside machinist. He was a member of the Lisbon VFW and American legion of Bath. He enjoyed NASCAR, classic country music and John Wayne western movies. He is survived by one sister, Marilyn Anderson of Bath, sister-in-law, Edna Wright of Bath; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents Herman N. Wright on April 9, 1952, and Dorothy H. Wright on July 27, 1992; seven brothers, infant twin brother, David, on July 28, 1938, Lawrence P. Wright on July 4, 1966, Richard R. Wright on June 16, 1967, Everett B. Wright on August 8, 1993, Robert H. Wright on Dec. 7, 1993, George C. Wright on Oct. 15, 2000, and Herman N. Wright, Jr. on April 25, 2005. A private graveside service will be held for family at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath. Arrangements are by Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath.
