A young woman from Saco, who had been missing since around 10 p.m. Saturday night, has been located and is safe, according to Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Moss told News Center Maine that authorities were able to locate Rachael McMann, 26, on Sunday after she was reported missing from her home on Therrien Avenue.
Police were concerned for McMann’s safety. A Silver Alert was issued around 1:27 a.m. Sunday for McMann. Silver Alert is a public notification system used to broadcast information about missing persons, who may have some type of disability.
