SACO — Love those older automobiles? Do you swoon at the thought of chrome and tail fins, or older vehicles once called horseless carriages? How about the muscle cars of the 1960s and 1970s?
More than 150 vehicles will be on display on Main Street from 8 a.m. 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 23 — the 13th annual Saco Main Street Classic Car Show.
“There are cars, and cars … If you were one of the 1,500-plus attendees in 2019 you know what a great time we had,” organizers from Saco Main Street said in promotional materials.
Vehicles from 1918 through the muscle car era will be on display.
Main Street will be open to through traffic during the event. Parking is available on the streets surrounding the show and in several marked lots. Also, organizers say there is a significant public parking space at the Saco Transportation Center (the Train Station), less than a block walk to the car show.
Besides the great cars there will be music throughout the day and food and drink available at Saco’s downtown eating establishments.
