Meetinghouse Arts is hosting “Songs from Here,” a new collaboration between Maine-based musicians and local poets, at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at 40 Main St. in downtown Freeport.
The project was conceived by Maine-based singer Sarah Tuttle, composer Erica Ball and pianist Bridget Convey and features Maine-based poets Mohamed Alghanami, David Sloan, Erin Covey-Smith, Kira Salter-Gurau and Jefferson Navicky.
Tickets are $20 for general admission and $5 for those age 17 and under and are available on Eventbrite or at the door.
