The Cumberland Town Council is looking for an interim board member to fill a vacancy on the School Administrative District 51 Board of Directors following Tyler McGinley’s resignation.
Candidates are required to be residents of Cumberland for at least a year and would serve until the next municipal election in June 2023.
Those interested must submit a letter of interest to the Town Council with contact information, length of residency and a description of applicable skill sets and experience. Letters are due by 4 p.m. Thursday, July 21, and can be mailed to Brenda Moore, Town Council Secretary, Town of Cumberland, 290 Tuttle Road, Cumberland, ME 04021, or emailed to bmoore@cumberlandmaine.com.
The council will review candidates the week of July 25 and interviews will be held Aug. 3.
