Tongue in cheek, there’s a simple Newtonian solution to the problem of global warming: frequent, perhaps daily launchings of rockets into space. If each one is timed to take off from its launch site at noon, toward the sun, the act of mutual separation would push the earth away from the sun, cooling our planet.

Returns would occur on the opposite side, at midnight, with the gravitational forces on the earth pulling it further out from the heat source, also cooling us. The international cooperation should be easy to organize.
