William A. “Billy” Collins Jr.

SCARBOROUGH – William A. “Billy” Collins, Jr., 63, of Scarborough passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022.

Billy was born on June 20, 1959 in Portland, the son of William A. Collins, Sr. and Ethel L. (Foshay) Collins. He attended Scarborough High School. Billy worked at S.D. Warren in Westbrook and then later operated his own handyman business.

Billy was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman (Maine Guide). He loved children, raising his son and helped raise seven other children as if they were his own.

Billy is survived by his parents Ethel and William Collins, Sr; two brothers, Bob Collins and Don Collins, both of Scarborough, two sisters, Laurie Hanson of Buxton and MaryEllen Collins of Scarborough; children William “Billy”, Austin, Kelly, Angie, Sabrina, Mike, David, Shelly and Jessica; many nieces, nephews and grandchildren whom he dearly loved.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hobbs Funeral Home, 671 U.S. Route 1, Scarborough on Saturday, July 9, followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
