
SCARBOROUGH — Help save the environment while helping out Scarborough seniors.
Support the Scarborough Community Service Senior 55+ Program with the purchase of a Hannaford Fight Hunger Bag.
For the month of March for every $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger Bag sold at the Scarborough Hannaford will a earn a $1 donation for Senior 55+ programs. The money raised will be used to help pay for drop-in center snacks, and the entertainment at their weekly lunches.
Upcoming senior events include Senior Craft Day which is held on Monday, March 14, at 10 a.m. located at the Hub. The Community Center is hosting a trip to the Brick Store Museum, on Thursday, March. 24, from 9:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For other upcoming events check out the Scarborough Community Services 55+ brochure.
