I am writing to support Ryan Larsen as a candidate to the SAD 75 School Board of Directors in the March 12 election. Ryan is a respectful communicator, open-minded advocate and steadfast supporter of the conditions that are essential to fostering a learning environment.
In his professional life, Ryan manages and directs teams of contributors, develops and oversees operational budgets and makes experience-based decisions about product development. He volunteers his time locally to help with school and community events and with WinterKids, an organization dedicated to keeping kids active and healthy through outdoor activities.
Nationwide, school communities have been impacted by the pandemic. We are operating in a reality very different from two years ago. To forge a path forward, it’s essential to be represented by someone with sound judgment and a compassionate communication style. Ryan listens, thinks and responds with these qualities. I urge voters to elect him.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
