Free, walk-in testing for COVID-19 is now available in Yarmouth from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Mondays and Thursdays at Yarmouth Community House, located at 179 East Main St.
Volunteers with Be Well Yarmouth provide rapid antigen tests with results in one to two hours if it’s required for work or school, and by the end of the day otherwise. Paperwork needs to be filled out and printed before arrival. Those who need transportation or to be tested at home can call 603-252-5921.
Be Well Yarmouth is seeking volunteers to help with administering tests, traffic management and other needs. Donations to help cover the cost of testing are being accepted at the testing site, or checks can be made out to Yarmouth COVID Task Force and mailed to Margaret Downing, 71 Browns Point Road, Yarmouth.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
