The town of Scarborough will host a virtual community meeting with a focus on climate change at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23.
The meeting will cover Scarborough’s climate change and resiliency priorities. Staff members also will provide an overview of vulnerable infrastructure in town and ask for suggestions for additional priorities. Residents’ feedback is needed as the town prepares to apply for a grant that will allow it to implement projects related to the state’s Maine Won’t Wait Climate Action Plan. Information gathered from participants also will be used in future funding proposals.
