A fire early Saturday morning on Sebaik Shores Road in Sebago drew a response from more than a dozen agencies, according to the Sebago Fire Department.
A dispatcher at the Cumberland County Regional Communications Center said the site of the fire was a residence and it was occupied at the time the fire broke out. The structure was a total loss but no injuries were reported, according to the Sebago Fire Department’s Facebook page.
The fire was reported around 2:30 a.m. at 4 Sebaik Shores Road, the department said in a Facebook post. The location was challenging due to narrow roads, large snowbanks and ice. The Sebago Department of Public Works was called in to bring sand and move snow.
Fire departments from more than a dozen communities responded to the blaze. They included Baldwin, Bridgton, Brownfield, Buxton, Casco, Cornish, Denmark, Gorham, Harrison, Hiram, Hollis, Limington, Naples, Raymond, Standish, Sweden and Windham.
A message left at the fire station Saturday night seeking more information was not immediately returned.
