Steven Vincent Morrill

PORTLAND – Steven Vincent Morrill, 51, of Portland, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Feb. 3, 2022.He grew up in South Portland and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, and any outdoor activity, always accompanied by one of his beloved dogs. He owned many over the years, each one special. He followed in his father’s footsteps working in the ceramic tile business. In his later years, he worked in property maintenance. His neighbors affectionately called him “The King of Burnham Arms”. He was a well-known local character who was fiercely intelligent and funny.He was predeceased by his parents, John and Joanna Morrill of South Portland.He is survived by his brother, John Morrill and wife, Lori, and their sons, Brandon, Connor, and Camdyn; his sister, Kathy Geneau and fiancé, Terry Colby of New Gloucester; nephew, Joseph Geneau of Florida.A celebration of Steven’s life will follow a graveside service in the spring.Condolences may be expressed online at: http://www.hobbsfuneralhome.com.
