BIDDEFORD — Those looking for a COVID-19 test at the drive-thru testing site at Five Points Shopping Center at 420 Alfred St. may now get one without an appointment. The PCR tests are free.
The site is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (last test is at 3:55 p.m.) Monday through Friday.
Those who prefer to make an appointment may do so at http://shieldt3portal.pointnclick.com, using the agency code “BiddefordComm.”
Organizers remind those seeking a test to not eat, drink, smoke, or brush their teeth an hour before taking the saliva test.
The testing site is a collaboration between York County Emergency Management Agency, Biddeford ‘s municipal Emergency Management Department and the Maine Centers for Disease Control.
