A head-on collision closed Route 302 in Windham for two hours Thursday afternoon and sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries.
The crash on Route 302 happened near the intersection with Maverick Lane just after 2 p.m., Windham Police Chief Kevin Schofield said in a news release.

Route 302 between Albion Road in Windham and the Westbrook town line was closed for about two hours. Results of the Windham Police Department’s preliminary investigation does not indicate that speed was a factor.
