SOUTH PORTLAND — South Portland’s WinterFest ’22 was canceled due to last Saturday’s nor’easter that arrived in Maine with heavy snow totals and blizzard conditions.

The Rotary Club of South Portland-Cape Elizabeth and the city of South Portland are contemplating a date to reschedule the event. The Rotary Club will still hold the their event Light Up the Winter Sky Fireworks that are planned for 5:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth.
The sponsors of the event include Bath Savings, Port Harbor Marine, Dimillo’s on the Water, Saco Biddeford Savings and Ira Motor Vehicle.
