Norma (Montgomery) Wadman

SOUTH PORTLAND – Norma (Montgomery) Wadman passed away peacefully on Jan. 19, 2022.

Born on August 19, 1927 in Portland to Apphia and Paul Montgomery, Norma was the little sister to Beverly and Joanne. She was a 1945 graduate of South Portland High School.

Norma met the love her life, Bill, at a dance in Portland. They were married for 62 years before his passing in 2011.

First and foremost, Norma was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Once her children had grown, she started a well-loved career at the Thomas Memorial Library in Cape Elizabeth. She shared her love of books with all of her children and grandchildren.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Bill; and her sisters Beverly and Joanne.

She is survived by her children Jeffrey (Karen), Marcia (Kevin), and John (Maribeth); eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Pinnacle Health and Rehab for their loving care and support.
