BIDDEFORD — Janine Josephine Deschambault, age 87, of Biddeford, Maine, passed away in Lehigh Acres, Florida, on Saturday Dec. 18, 2021.
Jan was born and raised in Biddeford, Maine. She served in the Air Force and then attended beautician school, and eventually had a strong following and established her own home business practice: Janine’s Coiffures and raised her family in Bedford, New Hampshire. Ms. Deschambault went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She worked for a period of time as a community Social Worker. Jan later moved to Florida, where she purchased and joined various groups including the Gulf LOWS (Loners on Wheels) and hoped to live her life traveling the country. Jan was always an avid church goer and volunteer. Giving her life, her practice and her tithings to Christ. She became a devout Born Again Christian in 1977.
She is survived by: two sons, David and Mark Deschambault of Florida; her daughter, Lynda Deschambault of California; two grandchildren, Jessica Stoddard and Michael Santos; and three great-grandchildren, Avah, Micah, and Mikey.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Yvette and Alphee Gaudette
