WINDHAM — Brylee Bishop knocked down five 3-pointers on her way to scoring 27 points, lifting Gorham to a 66-47 win over Windham in a Class AA girls’ basketball season opener Friday night.
Anna Nelson and Vanessa Walker each added nine points for Gorham, which made nine 3-pointers.
Sarah Talon led Windham with 22 points.
SCARBOROUGH 57, SANFORD 37: Lindsay Fiorillo and Caroline Hartley led the Red Storm with 17 points apiece in a win over the Spartans at Sanford.
Elisabeth LeFebvre added 10 points and Ellie Rumelhart had eight.
Riley Hebler and Tori Parker each scored 12 points for Sanford. Julissa McBarron chipped in with 10.
BONNY EAGLE 35, DEERING 25: Kaitlyn Bartash’s 11 points led the Scots in a win over the Rams in Standish.
Ember Hastings chipped in with eight points.
Maya Gayle put in eight points and Nyabhana Lia and Natalie Santiago each had six for Deering.
MT. ARARAT 54, MARSHWOOD 51: Avery Beale hit a 3-pointer with four seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Eagles over the Hawks in South Berwick.
Elsa Daulerio scored 20 points and Beale finished with 10 for Mt. Ararat.
Mia Constantakos and Savannah Nashwinter led Marshwood with 12 points apiece. Nashwinter got nine points in the fourth quarter to help the Hawks erase a 33-27 deficit.
THORNTON ACADEMY 58, MASSABESIC 49: Addisen Sulikowski made six 3-pointers and scored 25 points to lead the Golden Trojans past the Mustangs in Saco.
Mary Duffy and Micaela Jacobs each tossed in 19 points for Massabesic.
Hannah Cook added 11 for Thornton.
SOUTH PORTLAND 72, NOBLE 32: Ruth Boles led South Portland with 19 points, including five 3-pointers, and the Red Riots coasted to a victory over the Knights in North Berwick.
Emma Travis chipped in with 11 points.
Olivia Howard paced Noble with 12 points.
LEWISTON 55, PORTLAND 44: Natalie Beaudoin scored 27 points, leading the Blue Devils to a win over the Bulldogs in Lewiston.
Beaudoin hit a pair of 3-pointers in the second quarter to help Lewiston open a 20-12 lead, then scored 13 points in the second half as the Blue Devils stretched their advantage to as many as 22 points.
Liz Yugu led Portland with 12 points.
MORSE 51, KENNEBUNK 39: Dakota Shipley scored 14 points and Layne Brewer added 12 for the Shipbuilders in a win at Kennebunk.
Lily Hansen and Ruby Sliwkowski paced Kennebunk with eight points apiece.
YARMOUTH 47, YORK 42: Nori Schneider and Ava Feeley each scored 11 points, and the Clippers used a 12-7 edge in the fourth quarter to beat the Wildcats in York.
Emily Rainforth paced York with 19 points and added five steals. McKayla Kortes pulled down eight rebounds.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 82, ST. DOMINIC 23: Charlotte Harper-Cunningham scored 15 points and Graca Bila added 14 as the Panthers cruised past the Saints in Yarmouth.
Madilyn Onorato and Angel Huntsman each chipped in with 11 points. NYA led 22-3 after one quarter and 45-10 at halftime.
Jessie Zimmerman scored 16 points for St. Dom’s.
WAYNFLETE 30, SACOPEE VALLEY 25: Jess Connors paced the Flyers with eight points in a win over the Hawks in Portland.
Sacopee’s Brooke Landry finished with 10 points. Emma Boulanger added nine.
OCEANSIDE 60, MEDOMAK VALLEY 25: Audrey Mackie put in 18 points and Bailey Brooks had 17 for the Mariners in a win over the Panthers at Rockland.
Katrina Williamson led Medomak with nine points.
GREELY 51, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 43: Chelsea Graiver scored 22 points as the Rangers topped the Raiders in Fryeburg.
Brooke Emery led Fryeburg with 16 points. Sydney Shaw chipped in 10.
POLAND 39, LAKE REGION 23: Gabbi Bolduc scored 10 points to lead the Knights over the Lakers in Naples.
Emma Bunyea added eight points.
Shelby-Lynn Sheldrick paced Lake Region with 11 points.
WELLS 58, CAPE ELIZABETH 18: Grace Ramsdell scored 19 points and Maren Maxon had 16 as the reigning Class B champions rolled to a win over the Capers at Cape Elizabeth.
Wells led 23-2 after one quarter and 41-3 at halftime.
Olivia Manning led Cape with six points.
