PORTLAND – Curtis J. Ballantine, 60, of Portland died Nov. 1, 2021 surrounded by family. Born to Richard and Hazel Ballantine on May 13, 1961. Curtis attended Portland Schools. Joined the Navy in the 80s.

He was member of the Harold T. Andrews Post 17 and the Eagles. Curtis loved being involved in the clubs. He loved playing music and singing. For work he could do anything you asked of him.

Curtis was predeceased by parents; and brother Rick. He is survived by his brother Brian and wife Penny of South Carolina, sister Marlene Guthrie and husband Mike; his wife of 40 years Darlene; daughter Sara Ballantine, son-in-law Ed Roberts; granddaughters Janessa and Haley Roberts, grandson-in-law Ahmed Hameed.

There will be a service at the Harold T. Andrews on Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. Burial at a later date.
