Lenora Bourgeois
ENFIELD, Conn. – Lenora Bourgeois was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away in Enfield, Conn. on August 11, 2020, at the age of 74, after a brief illness.
She was born to Jake and Carmella Pupello on July 22, 1946. After graduating from Agawam High School. Lenora became an accomplished business woman. She ran her own pre-school for many years. After raising her children, she went on to pursue a long and successful career in interior design for Ethan Allen in Portland.
Lenora is survived by her son, Geoffrey, of Alfred and her daughter Loren, of Belchertown Mass.; her brother, Leonard Pupello and sister, Mary Sullivan; and nephews Matthew Pupello and Christopher Sullivan. She had three grandchildren, Lexi Vega, Rocco, and Giselle, whom she adored.
Lenora had an incredible zest for adventure and she travelled extensively throughout her life. She visited The Caribbean many times, but her favorite destination was Disney World, where she enjoyed time with her sister, daughter, and grandchildren. She loved taking her grandkids there and it became a yearly tradition. Lenora also loved to shop, and took many day trips with her family and friends , shopping and dining out.
Although it’s been a year since she passed, a memorial service is planned for the Fall of 2021 in Cape Elizabeth. Please email davidmeausky@gmail.com to be informed about the service.
