Rotary trail clean-up set for June 11
Members of the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club will be working on maintaining the trails along Bridgton’s historic Stevens Brook. Participants will meet at the Food City parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 11, and walk along the trail to Long Lake, cleaning up along the way.
This effort is part of the Club’s Environmental Committee project and all are welcome to take part. For more information email Carol Madsen at carjmad@hotmail.com.
Trail running workshops
Come run on Loon Echo Land Trust trails and learn from professional running coaches starting at 8 a.m. Sunday, June 13, in Pondicherry Park. Get tips on running form, injury prevention and essential gear, and have your questions answered on all aspects of trail running. Participants will get 15% off at Nectar Café and be entered into a raffle for a Nectar gift card and a LELT hat.
Future runs are scheduled at Raymond Community Forest and Bald Pate Mountain. All outdoor events are subject to weather conditions and/or date changes. BHS 1965 reunion
The Bridgton High School class of 1965 is making plans for its “55+1” reunion, to be held at Gary’s Olde Town Tavern in Naples on Aug. 21. The event will be outside under a canopy and will be handicapped accessible with plenty of parking.

First Church seeks office manager
The First Congregational Church UCC of Bridgton is looking for someone to fill the permanent, part-time position of office manager, responsible for managing the office and interfacing with church staff, committees, the congregation and general public.
