South Portland High School – Class of 2021 Top Scholars
South Portland High School recognizes its top scholars each year. The criteria for top scholars is earning summa cum laude distinction. To qualify students must have a cumulative GPA of 95 or higher and a minimum of 12 advanced courses, five of them being AP or early-college courses. The top two students earn valedictorian and salutatorian status, and the next two are honors essayists at graduation, but the others are not ranked. Here is this year’s top scholar list.
