Girl and Boy Scout Troops were recently recognized by the town for their community service projects in the Falmouth area.
Girl Scout Troop 571 tidied up the landscaping at the side entrance of Mason-Motz Activity Center by planting “a beautiful bed last year,” Falmouth Parks & Community Programs said in the most recent issue of the Falmouth Focus online newsletter.
Falmouth’s Conservation Commission and Sustainability Department extended its appreciation to Falmouth Boy Scout Troop 93 for a cleanup project in Walton Park. “They did an amazing job and we are grateful for their efforts,” the article said.
