Alan E. Tucker
WINDHAM – Alan E. Tucker, 79, passed away on May 19, 2021, at Scarborough health care facility after a brief illness.
Born in Danforth he was the only child of Maurice Tucker and Bertha Gould. Alan served in the United States Air Force then went on to work for IBM for over 30 years in New York, Massachusetts and then settling in Windham.
Alan was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Marie. He is survived by his two sons, Mark and his wife Heidi of Windham, and Steven and his partner Sarah of Northbridge Mass. He adored his three granddaughters, Katelyn, Acadia and Cadence.
In 2016 Alan was reunited with high school friend, Elaine (Taylor) Bush. The pair shared a loving relationship which extended to her five daughters: Cathie, Carole, Donna, Gayle and Darlene as well her nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Alan loved to fish in Sebago and East Grand. During retirement, he would often be seeing out in his yard especially during the fall where he would blow the leaves from his yard from dawn to dusk. His good-natured teasing and big heart will be missed by many.
As he would always say “BE GOOD!”
Per Alan’s request there will be no services.
