I hope my fellow Yarmouth neighbors make a place for Chris Kamm on the Town Council. Chris is an active member of our community, continually pitching in to volunteer for a myriad of youth programs in town. He is an energetic, engaging guy who never takes himself too seriously, but always takes his work very seriously.
Chris’ effectiveness as a community leader was recently on display regarding the decision to provide our children more in-person learning. He served as a parent representative on the Pandemic Instruction Task Force that ultimately recommended Yarmouth students return to school four days a week. Chris’ measured voice during that process – and his thoughtful advocacy thereafter – was an important contribution to the effort to get our kids back in school.
That collaborative approach to difficult challenges is precisely the type of leadership we need in town government. Please vote Chris Kamm for Town Council.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
