KENNEBUNK – Registered voters wishing to cast absentee ballots in the June 8 annual town meeting may do so by requesting a ballot from the town clerk’s office, either in person or by calling the office at 604-1326.
Voters may fill in their absentee ballot at the town hall at 1 Summer St., deliver it, drop the completed ballot in the secure ballot box outside the building, or mail it. All absentee ballots must be received by 8 p.m. June 8, when polls close.
Town Clerk Merton Brown said additional hours have been set aside for those who wish to cast ballots at town hall or register to vote. The additional hours are 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday May 22 and Sunday, May 23, as well as 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 3.
On Election Day, polls will be open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters will cast ballots on their choices for select board, RSU 21 director, Kennebunk Sewer District trustees and Kennebunk Light and Power District trustee.
