Values are the bedrock upon which a community is built. I write today in support of Amy Kuhn and Hope Cahan, two candidates for Falmouth Town Council who represent values I celebrate and consider important to the healthy progress of the Falmouth community.
Amy and Hope treat all residents with dignity and respect, listening with open minds and genuinely caring about differing viewpoints.
They engage in civil discourse. They can speak their minds and disagree without being disagreeable.
They are committed to supporting children and families, working people and seniors, making Falmouth a rich environment for people at all points in their lives.
Finally, Amy and Hope are passionate about conservation, open space and natural resources, and preserving those assets as essential elements of what it means to live in Falmouth.
Please join me in reelecting Amy and Hope to Town Council on June 8.

Comments are not available on this story. Read more about why we allow commenting on some stories and not on others.
We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
