Eight years ago my wife and I gave up our jobs and connections and moved to Falmouth for purposes of quality of life. Even as we were scoping places from two time zones away, we knew Falmouth was a special place. While the natural amenities were undoubtedly a big initial draw, the quality of the people has made us want to stay. One of these people is Amy Kuhn.
Open to meeting all people in our community to address our mutual problems, I am happy to endorse Amy for reelection for Town Council. Working to secure our town’s budget stability to keep our mill rate low, managing smart growth and long-range planning for climate change do not provide simple or easy answers but I know Amy will work with others to find solutions that work in the interest of all Falmouth residents, present and future.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
