Having just marked Falmouth’s 300th year, it’s important to be mindful of what lies ahead for our amazing town.
Hope Cahan, who is running for her second term on the Town Council, has proven that she can lead us into the coming years effectively, intelligently, with heart and an ability to listen with sincerity and empathy. She has the experience and perspective to help us navigate decisions relating to growth and development. She will continue to make land use a major priority, looking closely at each project in terms of its consequences both intended and unintentional, including its impact on schools, parking, public safety, traffic and the environment.
Hope cares deeply about the quality of life in Falmouth and always keeps the best interests of residents in mind. Hope Cahan is the mindful, keenly intelligent, kind-hearted person we need on Town Council. For our future, look to Hope.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
