A 19-year-old man was shot at an apartment complex in Portland’s Riverton neighborhood Thursday night, police said.
Police said they received a report that shots were fired shortly before 11 p.m. and when officers arrived at the Wellesley Estates apartment complex on Riverton Drive, they found a 19-year-old who had been shot.
The man was taken to Maine Medical Center for treatment and police said his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police also said they don’t believe the public is in any danger and asked anyone who has information on the shooting to call 874-8575.
