Anton Behuniak, Cheverus boys’ tennis: A freshman playing in his first varsity match, Behuniak won a third-set tiebreaker 7-5 to complete a 6-2, 5-7, 7-6 victory at No. 3 singles as the Stags (3-1) knocked off Falmouth 3-2 last week. The loss snapped a 48-match winning streak for three-time defending Class A champ Falmouth.

Cody Bowker, Thornton Academy baseball: The junior threw five innings of one-hit shutout ball and added three hits in a 13-0 win against Biddeford on Saturday, and had a pair of hits in the Trojans’ 11-1 win Tuesday against Windham. Thornton is 4-0 and has outscored its opponents 61-5.

Ben Greene, Falmouth track: The senior distance runner established a personal best and a school record in the mile (4 minutes, 15.83 seconds) at the Trials of Miles event in Leavenworth, Kansas, on Saturday.

Aidan Joyce, Scarborough boys’ lacrosse: The senior attack and team co-captain scored five goals in a 12-6 win against Windham on Saturday as the Red Storm improved to 3-0. Joyce also had four goals and two assists in an 18-7 win against South Portland on Thursday.

Brady Nolin, Greely baseball: The senior made a bid for a second no-hitter this season when he held Yarmouth without a hit into the sixth inning. Nolin finished with a complete game two-hit 2-0 shutout, with nine strikeouts and no walks. On April 20, Nolin no-hit Fryeburg, 1-0.

GIRLS

Natalie Bilodeau, Scarborough girls’ lacrosse: The junior midfielder had four goals in a 12-7 win over Thornton Academy, then had seven goals in a 14-4 win over Cheverus, scoring the game’s first three goals.

Charlotte Donovan, Biddeford softball: The sophomore went 3 for 4 with two doubles and a home run, driving in four runs in an 18-3 win over Falmouth. She also pitched 4 1/3 scoreless innings, striking out seven.

Gracyn Mick, Falmouth girls’ tennis: A freshman, Mick rallied to a 6-4, 0-6, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles Saturday to lift Falmouth over Scarborough 3-2. It was the first meeting between the schools since the Class A South finals in 2019, when Scarborough ended Falmouth’s winning streak of 187 consecutive matches.

Lily Schwartzman, Kennebunk girls’ lacrosse: The senior attack had a big week in helping the Rams stay undefeated with two wins. She scored five goals in a 19-2 win over Biddeford, then came back with four goals, while winning 18 of 20 draws, to lead the Rams to a 10-8 comeback victory over Yarmouth.

Madison Sheppard, Sanford softball: The sophomore pitcher was impressive in a 13-1 win over York, tossing a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts as the Spartans improved to 5-0.
