Celebrate mom at the Brick Store Museum. Moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, future moms and dog moms (any kind of mom) deserve a special day. Visit the museum with a favorite mom(s) to view current exhibitions and pick up a special take-out meal (mimosa included) to enjoy afterward.

The museum will be open special extended hours for Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors can reserve and pick up a to-go meal catered and packaged by For the Love of Food and Drink.
Meals will be picked up at the museum so patrons can view the exhibitions before a meal. Menu choices for to-go meals are: Chicken Marsala; Veggie frittata with home fries and candied bacon; or spiral cut ham, all served with green salad, rolls, chocolate mousse and a mimosa.
The cost of the Mother’s Day package is $25 per person. The package includes free admission to the museum on Sunday (staff will reach out to schedule the visit and pickup time), take-out meal and a special gift (a garden in a teacup). Packages can be reserved via the museum’s website, www.brickstoremuseum.org/calendar, or by calling 207-985-4802. Meals should be reserved by May 6 at noon.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
