PORTLAND – Ronald J. Sevigny, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 25, 2021. Ron was raised and educated in Portland, son of the late Napolen and Gwendolyn (Moriarty) Sevigny.
He excelled as a student athlete at Portland High School as a varsity member of the football, basketball, golf, and baseball teams. Ron enjoyed a successful career as a business owner, operating several companies in the fields of construction, vending, and cleaning. He was an avid golfer and member of Riverside Golf Course in Portland. Above all he was a devoted family man, loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his son, Ronald A. Sevigny and wife Signe of Brockton, Mass., stepchildren, Kim Michaud and husband Daniel of Milton, Mass., Ken Jared of Westbrook, and Karla Dyer of Windham; grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and dear friends. He was predeceased by his son Michael J. Sevigny; and his nine siblings.
