Douglas Mountain
Anytime, Sebago. Trailhead on Douglas Mountain Road, Sebago. mainetrailfinder.com/trails/trail/douglas-mountain
Douglas Mountain in Sebago offers four trails ranging from a quarter-mile to 1 mile, all of which will lead you to a stone observation tower that affords sweeping views of the Lake Region. For the biggest challenge, try the Eagle Scout Trail. Considered moderate in difficulty, it follows a snowmobile trail with stream crossings and hilly terrain. Once it leaves the snowmobile trail, however, things get quite steep so expect your leg muscles to get some decent exercise. For a more kid-friendly option, the Ledges Trail is the shortest route to the summit. Happy hiking!

5 p.m. Sunday. Broadcast on WRFR (93.3 Rockland and 99.3 Camden) and streamed on wrfr.org.
The Strand Theatre’s latest “Strand on the Air” radio show is called The Light at the End of the Tunnel, and you’ll laugh yourself silly with Liz McLeod and the Strand Family Players along with music from Brittany Parker. You’ll hear from Mrs. Grunden who’ll talk about her vaccination experience, you’ll enjoy poetic offerings from Professor Dan Bookham and, over at Abysmal Point, you’ll be treated to an old-fashioned homegrown talent show bursting with songs, silly arguments and tomatoes being juggled while on a unicycle. Sunday funday indeed!
